Laboratory of Bee Biology - Physiology and Bee Pathology: This laboratory is responsible for undertaken research related to bee biodiversity issues, bee pathology, developing of biological control strategies against honeybee diseases and parasites, as well as determining the effect of different toxicants (e.g. pollution, pesticides) on honey bee health and physiology.

•  High magnification Compound and Dissecting Microscopes
•  An Image Drawing Device
•  An Image Analysis System connected to microscopes and a PC
•  An Electrophysiological set up, also connected to a PC for data processing
